Ford met the heavy duty truck buyer market with its Super-Duty Line. Their stronger-than-ever F-250 and F-350 diesel have more payload and towing capacity. K&N has developed an air intake system (57-2576) for the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a 6.4 liter V8 Diesel engine, the 2008 to 2010 Ford F-350 Super Duty with a 6.4 liter V8 Diesel engine, the 2008 to 2010 Ford F-450 Super Duty with a 6.4 liter V8 Diesel engine, and the 2008 to 2010 Ford F-550 Super Duty with a 6.4 liter V8 Diesel engine. K&N dynamometer testing shows a 16.4 horsepower gain at 2600 rpm and a 25.73 lbft gain of torque @ 2500 rpm. This is more than an 8 percent increase in torque compared to the original intake for improved towing and passing power. The K&N air intake tube was designed and shaped to provide the maximum amount of horsepower while staying within the factory parameters for this twin turbo application. The GMC Sierra 3500 is a heavy-duty pickup truck. It is almost a twin to the Chevrolet Silverado, a 1- ton workhorse that includes a stiff suspension, rugged frame and a very powerful engine.

The diesel trucks that use this K&N air intake are working trucks. There is a specially designed lid that goes on top of the heat shield to create a full air box. Chevy released their first 2.0 L Ecotec LNF turbocharged Cobalt SS in 2008 to replace the supercharged engine offered from 2005 to 2007. Although the 260 horsepower turbo engine puts out an adequate amount of power, K&N wanted to increase that power with the introduction of their 69-4518TTK performance air intake kit.
