57a-6044
K&N has designed a new performance air induction kit (57A-6044) for a wide range of models in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Subaru Impreza line with a 2.5 liter engine.

The custom design of the 57A-6044 is made using K&N’s Apollo air filter enclosure along with a K&N air filter. The Apollo’s protective shell provides the benefits of an open cone filter and standard air box in one unit.

The K&N performance air intake system comes with adaptors to fit the Subaru Impreza. By using a CNC mass air sensor pad, K&N keeps your Subaru running within the factory settings. The 57A-6044 also provides excellent filtration and additional power to the engine.

The removable cold air feed attachment on the Apollo allows outside air to enter the unit. Zip ties are also provided to secure the hose in position. It takes about 90 minutes or less to install this kit using simple hand tools. The 57A-6044 also comes with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.

AEM Intake for 2008 Honda Accord 3.5L V6

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

AEM is proud to introduce its new Cold Air Induction System for the 2008 Honda Accord 3.5L V6 part # 21-683. The largest power gains for the 21-683 are 10.7 horsepower at 6,100 RPM and 9.7 lbs/ft of torque at 5,600 RPM as measured on the company’s Mustang Dynamometer.

AEM Cold Air intakes are dyno-tested against the competition to deliver unsurpassed performance. Each system is tuned on the dyno to deliver maximum torque and horsepower, and monitor OBDII sensors, Mass Airflow sensor (MAF) signal voltage and fuel trims during this process to ensure that all readings are within OEM parameters, eliminating the chance of a throwing a check engine light.

69-8703ts

For even more power, K&N has designed a new air intake system 69-8703TS in powder coated silver for the 2008 Lexus IS F with 5.0 liter V8 engine.  K&N dynamometer tests show a 28.15 horsepower gain at 5900 RPM with use of the K&N air intake system. K&N tests multiple vehicles for each air intake kit it makes to ensure a consistent horsepower and torque gain.

The 69-8703TS has a mount for the factory mass air sensor. Simply remove it from the stock air box and install it into the K&N free flowing mandrel bent aluminum intake tube, securing it with the provided hardware.

The 69-8703TS is designed to reduce restriction and provide the benefits of a washable and reusable lifetime replacement K&N air filter RT-4590.  This K&N cone shaped air filter has a titanium top for added strength and light weight.

The manufacturer’s air box restricts air flow to the engine. K&N performance air intake systems provide an increase in power while providing excellent filtration. The K&N air filter is protected by a heat shield assembly which fits into the engine compartment and allows the K&N air filter to receive a consistent flow of fresh air.

69-8757ttk

To give the Corolla more power K&N designed a performance air intake system 69-8757TTK in black for the 2009 Toyota Corolla with a 1.8 liter engine. K&N dynamometer tests show the 1.8 liter engine gained 6.37 horsepower at the wheels at 5324 RPMs with this air intake kit.

The 69-8757TTK has lower restriction than the factory air box system. It draws air through a high flow washable and reusable air filter RU-4960 which is protected by a powder coated heat shield. K&N removed the OE air box and intake and built a larger intake system to open up the breathing capacity necessary for the 1.8 liter engine to get the full amount of air it needs for an immediate power gain.

The heat shield directs incoming fresh air from the factory air inlet into the air filter and isolates the K&N air filter from the engine compartment for better performance. The heat shield assembly is installed into the engine bay using factory mounting points and attaches to the intake tube.

All the OE emissions devices are reused and the MAS placed in a location that works with the factory settings. The crank case vent attaches to the mandrel bent intake tube. The 69-8757TTK can be easily installed in 90 minutes or less and is backed by the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.

K&N has designed an air intake system, part number 69-1210TS which adds to your Honda’s performance. K&N performance air intake systems are designed to provide the best balance of airflow and filtration. The 69-1210TS features an aluminum powder coated silver tube and a K&N round tapered chrome top universal air filter RC-4630 to replace your Accord’s airbox.

K&N air intake systems are built for horsepower. They establish a stock baseline horsepower with their in house dynamometers. From there they work to get the largest horsepower gain attainable without causing a check engine light to be tripped. Their horsepower numbers are not based on the single biggest gain from one particular vehicle but are based on an average of dynamometer runs from several vehicles.

K&N dynamometer tests show a 10.23 horsepower gain at 5217 RPM on the 2008 Honda Accord V6.

The heat shield assembly is installed into the engine compartment using the factory mounting points. Edge trim and brackets are provided. The heat shield isolates engine heat and allows the K&N air filter to receive a consistent flow of fresh air.
