The 2008 Dodge Viper defines brute power. Equipped with an 8.4-liter, 10-cylinder engine, the 2008 Dodge Viper is capable of producing over 600 horsepower. The Viper is often considered primitive when compared to ultra-luxurious supercars from Europe. However, what the Viper lacks in plush trim and options, it makes up for with its track credentials.

69-2527TTR gained 18.69 horsepower for the 2008 Viper
The 2008 Viper is reported to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds, cover the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds, and reach top speeds of around 200 mph. Combine that level of sheer power with the ability to precisely maneuver through turns, stop from 60-0 mph in around 100 feet, and the 2008 Viper will leave a venomous taste in mouths of European supercar owners.

K&N engineers are always hunting for more power. After looking under the 2008 Viper’s hood, K&N engineers knew the Viper was capable of more. Much consideration was put into the design of part number 69-2527TTR.

The stock 2008 Viper intake tract uses a dual throttle body set up fed by a common plenum with a single air filter. K&N intake 69-2527TTR replaces the stock pieces with twin powder coated mandrel-bent aluminum intake tubes and dual K&N high-flow air filters for improved air delivery.

This performance air intake system incorporates a unique heat shield, and the dual air filters line up with the factory fresh air intake on the hood. The result of this hard work and enthusiasm for performance is a nearly 19 horsepower gain at the wheels.

K&N’s Research and Development Department tested a 2008 Dodge Viper 8.4-liter V10 on our in-house dynamometer. Results showed horsepower increases throughout the RPM range with a shocking peak horsepower gain of 18.69 horsepower @ 5,300 RPM! 69-2527TTR provides improved performance with attractive red powder coated aluminum intake tubes to match the 2008 Viper’s valve covers.

K&N 69-1017TTK air intake system for 2009 Honda Fit with a 1.5 liter engine

K&N 69-1017TTK air intake system for 2009 Honda Fit with a 1.5 liter engine

The 2009 Honda Fit was completely redesigned for 2009. It is a bit longer and wider than the 2008 model and has added interior space, sharper handling, enhanced seating functionality, and a more powerful engine.

K&N has designed a performance air intake system (69-1017TTK) in black for the 2009 Honda Fit with a 1.5 liter engine that is guaranteed to increase power.  K&N dynamometer tests show the 1.8 liter engine gained 4.53 horsepower at 6000 RPMs with this air intake kit.

The 69-1017TTK has lower restriction than the factory air box system. It draws air through a high flow washable and reusable chrome top K&N air filter (RC-9630) which is protected by a powder coated heat shield.

The heat shield directs incoming fresh air from the factory air inlet into the air filter and isolates the K&N air filter from the engine compartment for better performance. The heat shield assembly is installed into the engine bay using factory mounting points and attaches to the intake tube.

The 69-1017TTK integrates the mount from the vehicle’s mass air sensor. Remove the mass air sensor from your vehicle’s stock air box and install it into K&N’s less restrictive mandrel bent aluminum tube using the provided K&N hardware.

All the OE emissions devices are reused and the MAS placed in a location that works with the factory settings. The provided crankcase vent hose attaches to the aluminum intake tube. The 69-1017TTK can be easily installed in 90 minutes or less and is backed by the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.

K&N's 63-3068 Performance Air Intake System for the 2006-2007 Cadillac CTS-V 6.0L V8

American made luxury automobiles, like Cadillac, once captivated the imagination of consumers around the globe. With the rise of the young urban professional, European, and later Japanese, luxury cars invaded the market. American luxury became thought of as a “grandfather’s” car. This unfavorable stereotype no longer holds true for Cadillac. Gone are the days of heavy, inefficient land yachts. Cadillac’s CTS-V helps to usher in this new era of American built luxury cars. The “V” moniker in the Cadillac line-up is intended as a direct contender to imported luxury such as BMW’s M series and Lexus’ F cars.

Performance Air Intake System 63-3068 stimulates an already incredible super sport sedan with a 17 horsepower increase at the rear wheels. K&N’s Research and Development Department tested a 2007 Cadillac CTS-V 6.0L V8 on our in-house dynamometer.
