K&N 69-1017TTK air intake system for 2009 Honda Fit with a 1.5 liter engine

The 2009 Honda Fit was completely redesigned for 2009. It is a bit longer and wider than the 2008 model and has added interior space, sharper handling, enhanced seating functionality, and a more powerful engine.

K&N has designed a performance air intake system (69-1017TTK) in black for the 2009 Honda Fit with a 1.5 liter engine that is guaranteed to increase power.  K&N dynamometer tests show the 1.8 liter engine gained 4.53 horsepower at 6000 RPMs with this air intake kit.

The 69-1017TTK has lower restriction than the factory air box system. It draws air through a high flow washable and reusable chrome top K&N air filter (RC-9630) which is protected by a powder coated heat shield.

K&N's 69-2004TTK Performance Air Intake System for the 2007-2008 Mini Cooper S 1.6L Turbo

At first glance calling the 2007 Mini Cooper “All New” may seem like a ruse. Upon closer inspection the surprisingly significant changes make themselves better known. While European pedestrian impact standards dictated minor changes to exterior dimensions, the biggest surprise comes from under the hood. A lot of investment was made into new engines for the Mini Cooper. An all-new turbocharged 1.6-liter engine powers the Cooper S. The new turbocharged engine offers a nice bump in both horsepower and torque over the previous generation Cooper S. Nevertheless, K&N engineers took one look at the car and decided that more could be done.

That’s exactly what K&N did with Performance Air Intake System 69-2004TTK. Great consideration was put into the design of part number 69-2004TTK. Exclusive features include a stepped intake tube to eliminate the need for special adapters while improving air delivery. The location of the step was carefully tuned to provide greater increases in power. Additionally, a special angled silicone adapter was created to maintain the factory location of the stock crankcase vent hose. 69-2004TTK incorporates a highly unique heat shield that bolts to the bottom half of the factory air box. This retains the original cold air induction keeping inlet air temperature within factory specifications. K&N has designed a new polished aluminum high flow air intake system (77-1558KP) for the 3.7 liter engines of the 2008 Dodge Dakota, the 2007 Dodge Dakota, the 2008 Mitsubishi Raider, and the 2007 Mitsubishi Raider.

Dynamometer tests show a 6.14 horsepower gain at 4200 RPM. K&N’s air intake design has lower restriction than the factory air box system. K&N removed the intake plenum to help smooth the air entering the throttle body.

The 77-1558KP uses a conical shaped chrome top high flow air filter (RF-1048), and a powder coated heat shield in place of the vehicle’s stock airbox. The extra large heat shield directs incoming fresh air from the factory air inlet into the air filter, isolates the K&N air filter from the engine compartment and allows it to receive a consistent flow of fresh air.
